Personally Crafted Portraits
Commission a Portrait Today
Hello! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Teri, and I've been creating and studying art since I was very young, adding to my education and skills during college. I am honored to paint portraits that represent the love and goodness that comes from our pets. While I specialize in pet portraits, I am also able to paint people, homes, and other scenes. Watercolor and ink have been my mediums of choice for many years now and I am able to craft a one-of-a-kind piece for you with only a few details and a quality, well-lit picture. Let’s talk and I'll get started!

Stuck on a gift idea? Missing a childhood best buddy?
Meaningful and Treasured
The odds are you have someone in your life who feels impossible to shop for when their birthday arrives or a holiday looms. Perhaps they, or you, have a pet or person in your life whom you'd love memorialized in paint to hang proudly in your home. I'll infuse care and love in every brushstroke and detail. In me, you've got someone in your art corner.

You can also purchase gift certificates for your friends and family if you don't have the perfect images on-hand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Helpful Information
Can the portrait be crafted from a photo(s)?
Yes, this way I'm not required to have the subject of the portrait present or in front of me. All I need is a well-lit photo (Natural lighting is best) which can be sent via email or text message. You can send me the photo(s) to my email address here. Pro tip: If you send me multiple photos, this gives me the best idea of accurate colors and details. Please indicate if you have pose preference for pet(s) or person, if you send multiple photos. I can choose if you are having a hard time and based on the image quality.
What is the portrait pricing and when is payment due?
Prices start as low as $85 for a "Smoll Pawtrait." (4x4", often done as part of a series set). Medium-sized portraits (8x10") start at $160, with the larger portraits starting at $225 (12x16"). Custom sizes available.
Portrait prices are based on a few things: A) The size of the finished piece, B) the number of subjects you would like in the portrait and C) the complexity of the background.
An initial 50% deposit gets you a spot on my schedule. Final payment, plus shipping/handling will be due prior to shipment. Pro tip: Framing can be requested.
How long will it take to get the completed portrait?
Please allow 3-4 weeks for your portrait to be completed from the date of your commission request. Note: During the months of Oct-Dec this time could increase due to the holiday gift-giving season. Pro tip: If you have an important deadline, I will work with you to expedite your portrait as much as possible, and can shuffle the requests I have in queue. I will include tracking information for your portrait and let you know when it has been sent.
